About Us
Our Story - Rainbow Plantations Residential Subdivision
The RPR Community has been a thriving, interactive, living community made up of individual property owners, lot renters, and RV campers in the Marlow area since 1989. We are proud to offer quality interactions with a caring and sharing philosophy among neighbors - permanent and temporary. In 2025, we were excited to have the new owners of the RV Park engage with us as community neighbors! We endeavor to help Kaliber Management be successful with their Sunset Grove RV Park and Campground.
Our history began as a planned community developed by Joe and Kay Peterson, Founders of the Escapees organization. In 2024, the RV Park was separated from the Escapees organization when Harvest Host purchased the Escapees membership. The Escapees RV Park at Rainbow Plantation owned by the descendants of the Petersons was sold in August 2025. Sunset Grove RV Park and Campground owned by Kaliber Management brings a refreshing renewal to our vibrant community. The philosophy of caring and sharing merged with community respect is still alive and well among members of our community.
